This prestigious event was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in October 2023, and is the largest IT exhibition for startups in the Middle East and Africa. As testament to the company’s innovative tech solutions, Kotozna emerged as a semifinalist in the Supernova Challenge - Asia Fast Award, placing it among the top 20 contenders. The event was further highlighted by visits to Kotozna’s booth from distinguished guests including His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, and Isomata Akio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the UAE, signifying the company's growing potential in international markets.

GITEX Expand North Star 2023 is the largest tech exhibition for startups in the Middle East and Africa. The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) set up the Japan Pavilion to support Japanese startups aiming to expand in the MENA region. Kotozna was selected to participate, and showcased its hospitality solutions at the event held in Dubai in October 2023.

The 'Supernova Challenge' at 'GITEX Expand North Star 2023' is the world’s largest startup pitch event. This competition, drawing interest from global investors, awards a $100,000 prize to the winning startup. Among the 520+ startups that participated, Kotozna was selected as one of the 20 semifinalists in the Asia Fast Award category.

Participating in the J-Startup Pavilion at GITEX Expand North Star 2023 has been an incredible opportunity for Kotozna as we aim to extend our market reach into the Middle East. Earlier this year, we entered into a business partnership with Samoon Information Technology Company and appointed a sales representative for 'Kotozna In-Room,' our guest experience platform for hotels. We've begun our sales outreach in Riyadh, with aspirations to engage with 100 hotels including major chains by next summer, and to have our solution adopted in 10 hotels by the end of this year. The Samoon team also participated in GITEX Expand North Star 2023, conducting market research and strategy sessions for the Middle East. The region's vibrant tourism market, coupled with the persistent language barrier, presents a unique opportunity for us. We are keenly focused on enhancing Kotozna's strategy in the Middle East in response to these dynamics.
